VISA upon arrival service
What is a `Visa on Arrival ?`: this is most likely the easiest way to obtain your visa without having to chase down embassies, consulates and the like prior to your trip, and is a valid alternative when applying for a tourist visa. The entry visa will be stamped on your passport as you pass through our immigration checkpoint. Though valid for thirty days, it can be extended once you enter Viet Nam. With this type of visa, you only can enter the country by air.


Who use this kind of service:
- Those who are living in a certain country where Vietnamese Embassy or Consulates has not been established.
- Those who has limit of time but has to be in the country of Vietnam as soon as possible.


How to get a Visa on Arrival:

- We obtain what is called an “Approval Letter” for you from the Viet Nam Immigration Department in hue.
- We will forward you a copy of the “Pre-approval Letter” by fax or email. Copies of the same document will be forwarded on your behalf to Vietnam immigration checkpoints at International Airports, so that when you arrive in Viet Nam, the Immigration officers will have those documents on hand and will be able to issue your entry visa expediently.

Vietnam has tropical climate, which is characterized by lots of sunshine, high rainfall, humidity with two distinguished seasons in general: the cold and dry one from November to April and the other hot and wet from May to October. The annual average temperature is from 22ºC to 27ºC. But weather usually different between North and South, between land and mountains.

 · Food and Drinks
There is a wide range of dishes in Vietnam, included the very popular nem (spring rolls) and pho (Vietnamese noodle soup). They are eaten together with rice or noodles. Not all foods are spicy. Vegetarian foods, dietary dishes & western menus are also available at some restaurants. A rich variety of tropical fruits is on hand year round, however, it will vary depending upon the season.
Imported beers and alcohols are available in hotels, restaurants and shops. There are many Vietnamese brands or country wines made from rice. If you prefer to drink water, please use bottled mineral water, which has an unbroken seal. Do not ingest tap water, which has not been boiled.
Some Things To Do Whilst Staying In hue

 · Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Complex
To the West of The Old Quarter it is a traffic free area of parks, monuments, memorials and pagodas.

 · Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum
The final resting place of Ho Chi Minh is a glass sarcophagus set deep in the bowels of a monumental edifice this is Vietnam’s number one place of pilgrimage, a place to view Ho Chi Minh in his embalmed state.

 · Ho Chi Minh’s Stilt House and Presidential Palace
The stilt house is where Ho Chi Minh lived on and off from 1958 to 1969.
The Presidental Palace is a beautifully restored colonial building constructed in 1906 as the Palace of the Governor General of Indochina.

 · Ho Chi Minh Museum
A wonderful place that relates to the past and the future, it is very well presented.

 · Memorial House
 A delightfully restored traditional Chinese style dwelling situated at 87 Pho Ma May Street in the Old Quarter.

 · Water Puppets
Held at the Municipal Water Puppet Theatre it is a fantastic ancient art form for both adults and children it is entertaining as well as amusing and graceful.

 · Temple of Literature
The Temple of Literature is situated at Quoc Tuc Giam Street it is a rare example of well-preserved Vietnamese architecture and is well worth a visit. It is a place that honours scholars and men of literary accomplishments. The gardens are well worth walking around as they have lots of bonsai and topiary trees. Visitors to hue could walk if they are fit, other than that it is a short distance in a taxi.

 · St Joseph’s Cathedral
Within walking distance from hue Serene hotel, the cathedral is worthy of a visit. The cathedral was inaugurated in 1886. The first Catholic mission in hue was founded in 1679. The Cathedral faces the western end of Pho Nha Tho Street where there are lots of restaurants, café’s and fashionable boutiques.

 · hue Opera House
A magnificent 900- seat venue .The Opera House was built in 1911. It has had a lot of renovation done to restore it to its former glory. Performances of classical music are periodically held here in the evening and the atmosphere is incredible. It is about a 20 minute walk from hue Charming Hotel.

 · Museum of Ethnology
Open: Tuesday to Sunday from 8.30 to 12.30 am & 1.30 to 4.30 pm
The Vietnam Museum of Ethnology is a convergence of cultures and a scientific ethnological center. It has actively contributed to the conservation and development of the national culture, as well as the cultural traditions and identities of the Vietnamese nationalities.
